What started in 2011 as a way to showcase local, overlooked Detroit electronic musicians has now grown into an organization. Founder Raul Rocha and the rest of the team continue to support the initial mission: to host a free music and dance festival yearly, provide DJ workshops and dance courses to our community, continue to promote the brand while playing at national and international events, facilitate cross-cultural experiences, and pass Detroit Techno on to future generations of electronic music fans.
